Part time Tourism, Events and Retail Customer Service Assistant for our Seddlescombe Organic Vineyard, in Staplecross , Robertsbridge.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of MDCV UK Vineyards and Winery's growth and journey to a sparkling future .This is a part time position with optional days on offer.
This role is responsible for supervising the teams who run the vineyard tours, the shop and the café, set in a beautiful location.
Key responsibilities
* Assisting the Manager with arranging vineyard and winery tours as well as ensuring the smooth running of the shop and café.
* Supervising the teams and ensuring staff rotas are sufficient to meet the demands of the business.
* Assisting with events ensuring there are adequate staff levels.
* Good retail skills and able to assist guests select their wine.
Essential requirements
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to stay calm in a fast paced environment.
* To establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and departments.
* Hospitality/Retail experience including meduim to large scale events.
Desirable but not essential :
* WSET 2 or above. - Training would be provided
* First aid trained
* Food and hygiene level
* Interest or knowledge in wine
