Our stable and well backed PE retail/wholesale client in north Birmingham is looking for an experienced finance professional to join their cosy finance team as a right hand their MD. As the Management Accountant, you will be producing the management accounts for the headquarters, including preparing a rolling cash forecast, budgeting and the MI pack, alongside some statutory submissions. This opportunity suits a stable individual looking to refine processes and help shape the future of the company.

The day to day will look familiar to the calibre of candidate we are looking for, with a few interesting intricacies due to the nature of the business. You will be preparing the intermittent Management Accounts for the main division, monitoring projects and costs, whilst analysing budgets and actuals variance and delivering a commentary.

Skills Needed

• Have previous experience in a retail/wholesale environment.
• Have experience compiling a cash forecasts and MI packs.
• Be comfortable liaising with external stakeholders (auditors) and producing budgets.
• Be looking for stability in your role, in a niche business that has been operating for years.
