Our client, an established contractor operating within the Pharmaceutical Industry operating across Ireland, UK, and Europe, is urgently seeking an experienced mechanically biassed M&E Construction Manager. As M&E Construction Manager you ideally have a strong mechanical installation on a clean room build background, demonstrating proven accomplishments on large scale M&E installations with associated QA/QC requirements including managing the appointed packages ensuring timely and compliant development of scheduled works from inception through to pre-commissioning.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Develop the planning & coordination of mechanical & electrical construction activities in collaboration with the project management team to ensure alignment with overall project goals & timelines.

*

Lead the mechanical & electrical engineers, stakeholders, subcontractors & suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials & services meeting the project requirements within the specific timelines.

*

Implement quality assurance process & procedures to ensure that mechanical & electrical construction works meet or exceed the project expectations.

*

Carry out regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues and ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

*

Manage M&E project budgets, tracking budget allocation making sure to minimise cost without compromising quality.

*

Prepare and maintain updated accurate record/documentations of project development and issues ready for review or submission.

*

Degree/HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with QA/QC experience.

*

5+ years' experience as M&E Construction Manager within construction with focus on Pharmaceutical/Clean room projects.

*

Strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

*

Effective communication and project leadership skills.

*

Strong knowledge of the M&E construction process, methods, and best practices.

*

Proficient in project management software & tools.

*

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
