Job Requirements - Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance at every step
- Lead onsite audit teams to ensure budgets, deadlines and expectations are met
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, handling queries quickly and effectively
- Supervise junior staff both on-site and in-office, reviewing work and offering guidance
- Use software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
- Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress
- Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
- Scope out any added-value services to help support the audit function’s continued development
- Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
- Support the wider firm by undertaking ad-hoc work when and where required

The Successful Applicant - ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience also considered
- Proven track record of leading audit assignments within practice environment
- Good knowledge of audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
- A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
- Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
- Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
- Proactive problem solver, with a keen eye for detail
- Able to work confidently with senior team members
