Job Title: HGV1 Day Driver (Trunking)

Location: Alfreton, Derbyshire

Job Type: Full-time. 40+ hours per week

About Us: Advance Staff are looking for a HGV1 Driver to work for one of our premier logistics provider in Alfreton. Specializing in efficient and reliable transportation solutions. We are currently seeking a dedicated HGV1 day driver for trunking operations to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate HGV1 vehicles for trunking routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries

* Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation

* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle for safety and compliance

* Follow all traffic regulations and company policies

* Communicate effectively with the transport team and clients

* Assist with loading and unloading as necessary

Qualifications:

* Valid HGV1 driving license, 2 years experience

* CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification

* Clean driving record with no major infringements

* Previous trunking experience preferred

* Strong communication and time management skills

* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
