The Role:

As a Science Teacher at this vibrant and supportive school, you will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5. You will deliver engaging lessons, inspire students to develop a love for the subject, and help them achieve their full potential. You will be working with a dynamic team of educators and be fully supported in your professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons in Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) to students of various abilities
Plan and implement effective, engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum
Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on student progress
Support and encourage students' academic and personal development
Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and extra-curricular activities
Contribute to the overall development of the Science department
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Science or a related subject
Experience teaching Science at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 & 4)
A passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A DBS on the update service or the willingness to purchase a new one through Aspire People.
