Accounts Assistant - Insurance Sector / City of London / £30,000 - £40,000Overview:My client, a leading specialist insurance and reinsurance company based in the city, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The role will report directly into the Finance Manager.
Role & Responsibilities: - Ensure reporting and accounts are captured correctly
- Perform reconciliations
- Processing of underwriting, premium, and claims transactions under delegated authority agreements
- Liaise with underwriters, brokers, cover holders and communicate with all stakeholders
- Produce, monitor and complete Bordereaux oversight and MI reports
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Essential Skills & Experience: - 2+ years experience working within Accounts
- Insurance industry experience
- Experience in the Lloyd’s and London market
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Great communications skills and attention to detail
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Business, Economics or a related field
Package: - Salary dependent on experience, ranging between £30,000 - £40,000
