Role: Production Operative - Mechanical Fitter

Location: Wolverhampton

Hourly rate: £13 - £14 DOE

Hours: Monday to Thurs 7am - 4pm, Fri 7am - 12pm

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Production Operative - Mechanical Fitter. Working in the Operations department, assembling waste handling machinery for mounting to commercial vehicles. Assembling and fitting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems to our equipment and commercial vehicles.

• Duties include
  • Working in the Operations department, assembling waste handling machinery for mounting to commercial vehicles.
  • Assembling and fitting hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems to our equipment and commercial vehicles.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Candidates must have/be
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Hydraulic knowledge
  • Mechanically minded
  • Background experience in at least one:
    • Commercial bodybuilding
    • Coachbuilding
    • Trailer assembly/manufacturing
    • Long cycle time assembly.

MIG welding experience within this sector would be adventageous but not essential.
