We're supporting a global technology business with the recruitment of a Qualified Management Accountant to join their team, working closely with various stakeholders across the organisation and contributing to the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, and present them to Finance Controller and Finance Director
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows for the organisation and its business units, and provide variance analysis and recommendations
Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management and business units on financial performance, risks, opportunities, and best practices
Identify and implement process improvements and cost savings initiatives to enhance efficiency and profitability
Review and reconcile accounts and transactions, and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and documentation, and adhere to the organisation's policies and procedures
Maintain internal controls and audit trails, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations
Assist with external audits and tax compliance, and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and other external parties
Research and update accounting standards, policies, and regulations, and keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in the field
Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, and provide training and coaching as needed
Performing inter-company reconciliations and eliminations, and ensuring consistency and accuracy of financial data across different entities and systems.

About you:

Experienced in working in an international and multi-cultural environment.
Previous responsibility for Accounting and Reporting, Forecasting and Budgeting, developing Business Plan, Working Capital management and Cash Flow.
Fully Qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and people skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Has worked in agile, high-performance, and fast-paced environments
Proficient in UK GAAP and experience in handling auditors
High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
