Due to their continue growth and success, our client is seeking an Associate structural engineer for their dynamic team in London. Their projects are mostly large-scale, medium to high-rise up to £300m in value, and comprise residential towers, mixed use development, student accommodation and shopping centres. Their order book also consists of large Masterplans for residential developers, as well as hotel with cinema and basement - challenging and interesting projects!

As an Associate structural engineer, you will play a key role in managing and delivering projects and will have experience in RC and steel design. Technical leadership, client liaison and mentoring your team is your forte!

Key Responsibilities:

Take the lead on structural design for large projects, managing through to delivery
Ensure technical quality on deliverables
Strong client-facing skills, build & maintain strong relationships
Provide technical expertise, offering solutions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Work collaboratively with other disciplines to ensure an integrated approach to delivery
Supervise and mentor junior engineers, supporting professional development
Contribute to business development, identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm's client base

Essential Skills:

Minimum of 8 years' experience with a UK consultancy, working on large-scale schemes
Strong experience in RC design and steel structures
Able to manage and nurture client relationships
Strong leadership and project management skills
Chartered (MIStructE or MICE)
