Health & Safety Manager - Scaffolding

Health & Safety Manager wanted to join an established scaffolding company in Stevenage! Site visits are required - so you must be flexible!

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on our construction sites, with a particular focus on scaffolding practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.

- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly relating to scaffolding.

- Provide training and support to staff on health and safety protocols and scaffolding safety.

- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

- Liaise with external health and safety authorities and ensure that all legal requirements are met.

- Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer’s industry

Requirements:

• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification
• Experience in a Health & Safety Manager
• Scaffolding industry experience
• Experience risk assessment and reports
