Structural Design Technician Engineer

My client is looking for a talented Structural Design Technician/Engineer to join their team of engineers and technicians in their Chorley office. This reputable and successful consultancy practice has an established nationwide client base, often providing repeat business, with varied and exciting projects predominantly in the industrial and commercial sectors.

Responsibilities:

- Design and draw a range of building structures including reinforced concrete, steel, and drainage.

- Address complex design tasks, produce technical drawings, specify, and detail building structures with minimal supervision.

- Communicate well at all levels both written and verbally, and contribute to the day-to-day running of the office.

- Work well in a friendly team environment, prioritize workload, work to deadlines, and be reliable.

Requirements:

- Chartered or open to working towards chartered status with the ICE or IStructE.( Funded by my client)

- Previous experience in design and drawing a range of building structures.

- Civil Engineering Degree level educated in the UK

- Solid knowledge of current British and European Standards and UK Building Regulations.

- Familiar with up-to-date software packages including AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla/TEDDS, and drainage modeling software or similar packages.

Package:

- Salary £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
