Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant - Crawley

Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Position: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Crawley. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help them achieve their full potential in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs, both in the classroom and during individual or small group sessions
Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans and strategies for students
Help create a positive and engaging learning environment that supports each student's individual needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and assess student progress
Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Provide encouragement and motivation to help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals

Experience, Training and Qualifications

GCSE's or equivalent
Minimum 1 year working with children
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

Eligibility

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
