ENGLISH TEACHER 

BLACKPOOL

FULL TIME, SEPT - JAN

£130 - £211 PER DAY

Vida Education are currently working with a large Catholic secondary school on the Fylde Coast who are recruiting an English Teacher for a long term cover role starting in September 2024

The school was last graded as 'good' by Ofsted where leaders set high expectations of their pupils. 

The role is on a full time basis and will initially cover the first term, Sept - Jan although this could extend beyond. As an English Teacher you take on the full time responsibilities of the class teacher, planning, marking and teaching both KS3 & KS4 classes as well attend meetings, if required. 

As an English Teacher you will be required to;

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the UK Curriculum

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

As an English Teacher you will need to;

Have strong knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum

Have excellent classroom management skills

Have a minimum of 1 year experience teaching English up to KS4

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
