Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with experience in accounts payable and expenses? Markerstudy Insurance Group is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Expenses
- Check and process employee expenses, ensuring compliance with company policy and HMRC guidelines.
- Administer new users and approval hierarchies within the Expenses application.
Accounts Payable
- Process invoices through Invoice Capture, ensuring accuracy and correct supplier selection.
- Match invoices to purchase orders (POs).
- Process invoices using Proactis.
- Actively follow up on order requisitions and invoices through the approval process.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
- Handle supplier queries and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Prepare payment runs.
- Cashier
- Manage office account bank reconciliations.
- Process ad hoc payments.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance assistant role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Proactis is advantageous).
- Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with suppliers and internal departments.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
