Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global automotive manufacturer in West Yorkshire who are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest manufacturing standards by conducting precise audits, inspections, and reporting non-conformances efficiently. You will play a key part in supporting the production process, maintaining safety standards, and upholding compliance with company policies.This role is on permanent mornings (6am-2pm)
Key Responsibilities: - Accurate and timely completion of Gauge and Machine / Capability Studies
- Programming and operating Zeiss & Mitutoyo CMM and Hommel Formline / Roundscan
- Measuring products and tooling using conventional instruments
- Conducting effective manufacturing process and product audits
- Reporting non-conformances clearly and concisely
- Supporting shop floor operations with front-end problem-solving (Containment)
- Performing timely and accurate sample inspections
I'm keen to speak to experienced Quality Technician's with the following skillset:
- Experienced in CMM preferably Zeiss Calypso / Mitutoyo COSMOS)
- Understanding Engineering Drawings
- Understanding measuring techniques
- Experienced SAP User (preferred)
- Up to 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
