Who are we?

Our client has innovated within the gas industry since their inception in 1984, they have paved the way, developing technologies and solutions used throughout the UK gas industry still utilised in today's national infrastructure. Their next chapter under nZero ownership and new challenge is to aid in the gas industries transition to net zero and we are looking for passionate, capable people to join their team.

What is the role?

As a Digital Technology Manager within our ranks, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of the gas sector while advancing your own professional journey. This brand new department is at the forefront of driving change in the operational technology space.

Responsibilities

- Operational Management:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Digital Technology Division (DTD).

- Manage and provide guidance to the DTD Engineers and Digital Technology Officer.

- Coordinate R&D activities aligned with the division's key market areas: OT Cyber Security, Industrial

Internet of Things (IIOT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Big Data Analytics.

- Champion the implementation and continuous improvement of nZeros Cyber Security Management System.

- Project Management:

- Lead and manage digital technology projects from inception to completion.

- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

- Allocate resources effectively and ensure project milestones are met.

- Bid Management:

- Identify and evaluate bid opportunities relevant to the Digital Technology Division.

- Lead the preparation and submission of bids and proposals.

- Manage the bid lifecycle, including post-submission follow-ups and negotiations

- Customer Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

- Develop and contribute to user-centric strategies for digital product enhancement.

- Gather and analyse customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a leadership role within a technology division or similar environment.

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team management skills.

- Excellent market research and analytical skills.

- Strong customer engagement and relationship management abilities.

Benefits/Pay:

The salary banding for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 and is based on an applicant's Skills, Training and Competence
