Engineering team leader (Mechanical)

Client

I am working with an exceptional client of mine who is well established and highly regarded within the industry. My client is looking to add strength to the engineering team by bringing a mechanical lead for a team of 4.

Description

Salary: £52,859

Package: 5% matched pension + 24 days holiday

Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights

Location: Bury

Role

* Lead the site Engineering teams to deliver production plans, service levels & engineering strategy within quality, safety and cost parameters.

* Implement & deliver the engineering strategy that will develop and drive reliability, improve quality, Safety and asset utilisation via all direct & indirect reports

* Implement best practice maintenance principles for SHE/capital programme, care and maintenance

* Manage Engineering systems, structures, resource and processes and ways of working

* Responsible for the delivery of engineering KPI's that compliment manufacturing performance, manufacturing KPI's, and OGSM objectives

Experience

* Mechanical qualifications (time served apprenticeship)

* Organised and able to prioritise workload

* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential

* 5+ Years' experience of operating in a medium/large automated manufacturing operation

* Experience of leading an engineering shift for more than 3 years is essential
