Job Description: We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior to join our clients growing team. This role is perfect for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to advance their career in accountancy. As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements, managing client accounts, and supporting senior accountants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports for a variety of clients
  • Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Perform bookkeeping duties, including processing invoices and reconciling accounts
  • Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax computations
  • Conduct audits and assist with audit planning and execution
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice
  • Support senior accountants with ad-hoc tasks and projects
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial forecasts
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
