About the Role:As a Project Manager, you'll oversee diverse projects, including:

• Bus Service Improvement Plan: Enhancing public transport infrastructure.
• City Centre Road Project: Redesigning road networks alongside city regeneration.
• Local Town Centre Revitalizations: Improving shopping areas for community benefit.

This is a temporary role for up to 18 months, blending strategic leadership and hands-on project delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage capital works aligned with Portsmouth’s regeneration objectives.
• Develop budgets, monitor costs, and ensure financial accountability.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Engage stakeholders and deliver clear communication.
• Drive procurement, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• HND/Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or similar.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or APM membership preferred.
• Proven track record in managing high-impact projects.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical skills.
