MULTI SKILLED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANWASHINGTON, TYNE & WEARPERMANENT2 SHIFT PATTERN (DOUBLE DAYS)6am 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 11am Friday2.30pm - 11pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 4pm FridaySALARY - £43,427 inclusive of shift allowanceZenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit a time-served Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis.The main purpose of the role is to proactively maintain and improve production equipment at their Washington site.Main duties of the position: * Diagnosing and rectifying faults on production equipment * Perform thorough maintenance as scheduled by the CMMS * Work as part of the Production shift team communicating issues to other Technicians and Engineers * Complete shift log, detailing all relevant information to ensure continuation and/or review of repair. * Assisting with the commissioning, development and improvement of production equipmentSkills & Experience Required * Time served & qualified to a minimum level of BTEC ONC * Be willing to undergo training as identified through Engineers/Team Leaders. * Help to develop and improve PPM's * At least two years recent post apprenticeship experience * Candidates should have experience in a similar role including a good knowledge of Electro - Pneumatic machinery which is PLC controlled * Experience in FMCG. * Injection Moulding/Cathode experience preferred * Capable of machining to <0.1mm tolerances on lathe/milling m/c - preferred * Multi skilled with a Mechanical or Machining bias would be desirable * Good diagnostic/problem solving and communication skills * The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team and assist in prioritization where applicable. * Ability to perform when under pressure. * Molding experience would be desirable. * Some overtime working is expectedIf you are a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician and would like to be considered for this role please click apply now
