BIM Coordinator - Interior Fit-Out & Cruise Ship Design

About the Role:

Our client, a leading player in the interior fit-out and cruise ship design industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with 4-5 years of experience in BIM Coordination, a passion for innovative design, and a strong background in complex interior projects, particularly within the cruise ship sector (cruise ship sector experience is only desirable and not necessary).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Building Information Models (BIM) for interior fit-out and cruise ship design projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.

*

Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and engineers to coordinate and integrate BIM processes across multidisciplinary teams.

*

Oversee the implementation of BIM workflows and protocols, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

*

Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools, including Revit, Navisworks, and other related software.

*

Identify and resolve design clashes, manage model revisions, and ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs to clients.

*

Work with project stakeholders to meet deadlines, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

*

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology to ensure innovative solutions are applied.

Requirements:

*

4-5 years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or in a similar role, with a focus on interior fit-out and/or cruise ship design.

*

Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.

*

Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 standards, workflows, and coordination processes.

*

Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex BIM projects on time and within budget.

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

*

Experience with cruise ship interiors or large-scale marine projects is highly desirable.
