Salary: £38,000 - £39,000 + £1,000 Bonus
On-call: 1 in 3 (with £100 Standby Payment)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Supervisor for our client based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong electrical background to take on a supervisory role, managing a small team of multi-trade engineers across a commercial office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and manage a team of 2 multi-skilled engineers, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and within the agreed service levels.

* Oversee the completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) and ensure these are delivered within the service level agreements (SLAs).

* Provide guidance and support to the team, ensuring a high level of workmanship and safety.

* Manage contractors, including issuing permits to work and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

* Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and manage the procurement of necessary materials.

* Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring all maintenance tasks are prioritised effectively.

* Take responsibility for ensuring the team adheres to operational policies and standards.

Key Skills & Experience:

* Proven supervisory experience, ideally within a facilities or maintenance environment.

* Strong electrical background with hands-on experience in commercial settings.

* Ability to manage and oversee multi-trade engineers, ensuring productivity and quality standards.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and clients.

* Experience in issuing permits to work and managing contractors.

* Good organisational skills and ability to effectively manage and prioritise workloads.
