We are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant who will be instrumental in supporting the accounting and finance department within the industrial / manufacturing industry in Liverpool.

Description

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Assisting with year-end audit preparation.
• Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
