Active Recruitment is working closely with an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Havering, who are seeking a full-time English Teacher with experience in delivering the subject across Key Stage 3 and 4. The school is renowned in the local area for its state-of-the-art facilities and exceptional teaching spaces. The school is open to considering both experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and would also welcome applications from English Teachers who possess the confidence and capability to teach English as their primary subject.

Duties and Responsibilities of the English Teacher in Havering:

* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and stimulating English lessons across key stage 3 and 4.

* Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

* Be committed to school improvement and to the development of teaching and learning

* Demonstrate commitment to helping all children & parents succeed and achieve

* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs.

* Assess and track student progress, implementing effective teaching strategies.
