Reception Team Leader
Location: Fulwood Hall Hospital, Preston
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time

Summary:
Fulwood Hall Hospital was opened as a purpose built facility in 1986. In 2009 the hospital completed a £9m pound investment to refurbish and expand the site, making it the largest independent hospital in Lancashire and one of the largest in the north of England.
The hospital has six consulting rooms supported by a fully equipped outpatient treatment room, a pre-assessment unit for screening and assessing patients prior to surgery as well as modern imaging facilities and a brand new physio and sports therapy department including gymnasium.
The role:
We currently have a great opportunity for a Reception Team Leader to join our team at Fulwood Hall Hospital, based in Preston.
As a Reception Team Leader, your main duties are to organise the reception rota as well as providing reception duties to ensure that our patients have a positive customer experience when visiting Fulwood Hall Hospital.
You will deal with all reception staff and patient enquiries and provide guidance on the patient's appointment and reception processes. There are also admin duties that form part of the role as well as a switchboard style of answering calls and passing on information to our departments.

- Flexibility and adaptability to cover the needs of the department
- Excellent communication and professional telephone skills
- Administrative and receptionist experience within the healthcare sector (preferable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn additional software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Training skills for all new starters
- Training support for Maxims and the ongoing upgrades and changes to the new Maxims system for all reception staff.
