The hiring firm are looking to recruit a Solicitor/Litigation Executive (with a minimum 5 years’ experience) to join their Travel Injuries Team in Manchester to manage a caseload of claims arising out of personal injuries abroad. You will be working as part of a friendly and ambitious team where everyone works closely to deliver the best result for their clients.  The successful candidate will be an experienced fee earner with the ability to handle their own caseload. They promote a healthy work life balance with the offering of hybrid and flexible working.The role: 

• Running a caseload of pre-litigation and litigated accidents and illness abroad cases.
• Ensuring that cases are progressed effectively, meeting defined deadlines, and complying with precedents and documents in their case management system.
• Providing a high level of client care, respect and integrity in the management and progression of client’s cases
• Managing all aspects of cases including time recording, billing and debtor management in order to achieve personal fee and chargeable time targets

You will need: 

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience of handling pre and post litigation personal injury claims. Experience of accident abroad cases is desirable but not essential.
• Be able to work a caseload with minimal supervision and ensure accurate time recording.
• Excellent time management skills demonstrated by ability to organise and prioritise a complex workload and work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work in and contribute effectively to a team environment.
• Solid experience in using a variety of IT packages and case management systems. 
• Experience in handling intermediate or higher value claims desirable but not essential to role.
