As Group Financial Controller you will report directly into the CFO, having day to day responsibility for the Finance team. You will need to work closely with the external auditors and tax advisors as well as HMRC.

My client is a particularly fast growing business with a good brand identity in their sector in the UK, but also expanding internationally. They are growing both organically and through acquisition. They have recently embarked on a big media campaign to gain more market share.

Description

• Reporting directly to the CFO, you will have a day to day responsibility for the finance team with the finance and payroll teams reporting to you.
• You will have a very clear focus on the numbers and in the role you will have the opportunity to work closely with the operational teams, implementing our daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• You will also deal with our auditors and tax advisors.
• You will be responsible for the international, group consoldiations across multi-currency
• Manging and mentor a growing team
• Supporting the business with providing concise and simple management information

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Accountant
• Ideally have qualified in Practice
• Strong technical skills
• Management experience
• Confident in dealing with the principles of multi-currency group consolidations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, start up type environment
