Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage daily site operations, coordinating the work of bricklayers, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe progress.

* Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections to maintain compliance with industry regulations.

* Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.

Project Coordination:

* Serve as the main on-site contact for project managers, architects, and clients, facilitating clear communication and effective collaboration.

* Oversee the planning and scheduling of brickwork activities, ensuring alignment with overall project plans.

* Report on project status, including progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments, to the relevant stakeholders.

Quality Assurance:

* Ensure that all brickwork is carried out to the highest quality standards, in line with project specifications and client expectations.

Candidate Profile:

* Extensive experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, particularly with a focus on brickwork and facades.

* Deep knowledge of bricklaying techniques, materials, and construction best practices.

* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and drive project success.

* Solid understanding of health and safety standards and experience in their practical application on construction sites.

* Ability to interpret and execute architectural drawings and project specifications.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure.

* Relevant certifications such as a CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications.
