Class 1 driver required for a well-established construction equipment hire and sale company that offers services on a national scale. Due to ongoing success and growth a position has arose to jump their ever-growing team based out of their depot near St Neots. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and it is mandatory to hold your Class 1 driving licence & driver CPC qualification.

Class 1 Driver Job Overview

Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to transport goods to construction sites across London and various locations in the UK, adhering to all road safety regulations and company guidelines
Handle and lift heavy goods as required, ensuring all items are transported, loaded, and unloaded with care to maintain their quality and prevent damage
Utilize advanced smart technology to streamline the delivery process, enhance efficiency, and maintain precise, up-to-date records of deliveries and logistics.
Communicate effectively with customers and site personnel to provide excellent service, address any concerns, and ensure a smooth and satisfactory delivery experience

Class 1 Driver Job Requirements

Class 1 and CPC driver qualification mandatory
Experience in a similar position beneficial but not essential
Strong organisational skills
Willing to handle and lift heavy goods when required for the position
Commutable distance to St Neots

Class 1 Driver Salary & Benefits

£27,000-£30,000 salary dependant on experience
371/2-hour week (Flexible hours dependant on business needs with potential starts as early as 6am)
