LTF Recruitment are working alongside a Secondary School based in Leicester who are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to start September, for a long-term contract until July 2025.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons to up to Key stage 4
• Differentiating planning to meet a range of needs including provisions with children with a variety of additional learning needs.
• Creating and implementing Examination content.
• Assessing children's work against the school's assessment framework
• Liaising with the school SENCO around the progress of children with EHCPs
• Attending weekly CPD sessions within school training programme

Candidate Requirements:

• Holds qualified teacher status (NQTs Welcome)
• Is confident teaching both KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
• Has excellent classroom control and with a proven record of managing behaviour
• Is passionate about teaching and keen to ensure that students make progress
