Flux Consulting have partnered with a well-established and respected multidisciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering and surveying services across the UK. We are looking to hire an experienced Building Surveyor to join the expanding team.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of building surveying services to a diverse client base. This position offers the opportunity to work on varied and exciting projects, providing expert advice and ensuring that clients' needs are met to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Building Surveys: Conduct detailed building surveys, condition surveys, and inspections for residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

* Project Management: Manage building projects from inception to completion, including refurbishment, maintenance, and repair works.

* Technical Advice: Provide expert technical advice on building defects, maintenance issues, and compliance with building regulations.

* Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports, specifications, schedules of works, and tender documents for clients.

* Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met with tailored solutions.

* Contract Administration: Oversee contract administration duties, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard.

* Compliance: Ensure all work is compliant with relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Education: Degree in Building Surveying or a related field.

* Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in building surveying, with a strong understanding of construction, building pathology, and relevant legislation.

* Professional Accreditation: MRICS or working towards chartered status is desirable.

* Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
