Location: Commutable to Radstock

Remuneration: £50,000 + discretionary bonus

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packageThe role of the Estimating Manager - Commercial Glazing Systems will involve:

• Estimator position producing estimates for the design, fabrication and installation of aluminium curtain walling, windows & doors
• Review tender documents and produce high quality tender returns
• Utilise specialist estimating software to determine material costs
• Negotiate prices with supply chain and gather quotations for projects
• Liaise and build relationships with main contractor throughout the project and beyond
• Ensure that the internal CRM system is regularly updated
• Preparing handover documents for the contracts department, once a project has been secured
• Attending pre and post tender meetings as and when required
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £100,000 to circa £1,000,000
• Supporting and developing a Junior Estimator
• Prioritise own work load to ensure deadlines are met

The ideal applicant will be an Estimating Manager - Commercial Glazing Systems experience with:

• Must have estimating experience within the curtain walling, windows and doors market sector
• Ideally will have a strong background dealing with architectural glazing, curtain walling, fire rated glazing, structural glazing, windows & doors
• AutoCAD, LogiKal, V6 Software Systems experience would be advantageous
• Ideally will have people management skills
• Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
• Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Proactive and motivated individual with strong commercial awareness
