The CompanyNigel Wright Tech are delighted to be working with a North East based FMCG business in their search for a Business Intelligence Developer. Please note - this position will be office based The RoleJoining a team of four you will be responsible for database management as well as creating complex queries to extract data for Power BI visualisation. Key responsibilities include: 

• Design, develop and maintain SQL databases and data integration solutions to meet business requirements 
• Analyse and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to improve performance and efficiency 
• Work closely with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support business objectives 
• Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and visualise data through Power BI to provide insight on trends and opportunities 

The RequirementsKey requirements include: 

• Proficiency in SQL with strong knowledge of T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions 
• Experience with SSRS and SSIS 
• Familiarity with database design principles 
• Ability to deliver data insights via Power BI or similar visualisation tools
