Sliding Head Technician

The Company

The world's largest plastic machining business who offer a large selection of thermoplastics and composites for technical applications.

The Role

Working in a busy and clean working environment using the very latest machine tools and measuring instruments.

The work will include the following:

Setting CNC sliding head machines for production

Making in-process adjustments

Maintaining quality control of the parts you are producing

Liaising with the machine Cell Support and QC teams.

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must have

1. Experience Setting and Operating CNC sliding Head machines - (Fanuc preferable)

2. The ability to read and create programs for production

3. A good understanding of engineering drawings

4. An ability of working to a high standard

5. Excellent general measuring skills

Hours

Week 1 - Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm

Week 2 - Monday to Thursday 1.30pm to 10.00pm

Friday 1.30pm to 6.40pm
