To be considered for the role of Nursery Manager you will have: - Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
- Good knowledge of the EYFS
- Previous leadership experience (Senior Room Leader, Deputy Manager)
- Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a small team
- Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude
About the Nursery: This Nursery caters to children aged 3 months to 5 years; The setting has been purposely designed to support each child's age and stage, it is surrounded by gardens and it has a forest school area.
The role of a Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves: - Managing budgets, marketing, occupancy levels and KPI's.
- Preparing for Ofsted inspections.
- Assisting in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
- Leading the team and support in EYFS planning and looking at reflective practice.
- Managing staff rota's and staff meetings.
- Ensuring children's observations, assessment and development records are maintained.
- Having lead responsibility of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
- Working in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships.
- Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
