Our brand new, state of the art central production unit that caters for some of our smaller B&I locations across London. The team here support our locations with home made grab & go options along with various other offerings from cooked lunches to event catering. This is a full time operation and runs from Sunday to Thursday.
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operation in our CPU. The role will be responsible for ensuring all production meets regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. They will implement and maintain quality control systems, and work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement in food safety and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input, update and check recipes on to indicator database and create spec sheets, ensuring accurate ingredients, suppliers, quantities, methods, photos and costings are included in all recipes.
- Create and check daily and event menu allergens datasheets on and ensure all customer allergen and nutritional info is available and accurate via the web app.
- Print production reports for the kitchen, order sheets, labels and all other reports and documents needed for the smooth running of the kitchen.
- Quality control: Check site orders on Kanpla and liaise between site leads and the senior kitchen team to ensure accuracy of orders and kitchen production reports, always ensuring items and quantities are correct.
- Prepare menus formatted for circulating internally and externally to clients.
- Checking stock of stationary items and complete accurate monthly stock takes in line with monthly reporting timelines and ensuring accurate counts and pricing.
- Be aware of your responsibilities in respect of Health and Safety at Work and follow all procedures in this respect, reporting to management any hazardous situation or accident.
- Accurately picking, packing, checking and dispatching customer orders in-line with all necessary checks to ensure 100% accuracy, on-time and quality of orders leaving the kitchen.
- Mangement of Logistic driving team and vehicles
- Complete deliveries and collections to and from our customers’ offices and venues via van when needed.
- Overseeing and management of the logistics of Clients deliveries using ordering systems.
