Head Chef - Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.

* Develop and innovate the menu with authentic Italian recipes, seasonal specials, and creative flair.

* Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

* Ensure food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards are met at all times.

* Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure the kitchen runs efficiently.

* Collaborate with management to maintain budgetary goals and optimise kitchen operations.

* Uphold the restaurant's reputation for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Head Chef - Qualifications and Experience:

* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or up-scale Italian restaurant.

* Experience with New Restaurant Openings.

* Deep knowledge of traditional Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavours (Essential).

* Passion for delivering exceptional Italian cuisine with a focus on quality and presentation.

* Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

* Experience leading a large team of different levels.
