This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day of the role

  • Working with all employers you will take forward a highly professional and successful Traineeship and Apprenticeship agenda whilst maximising learner retention that meet local, regional and national skills priorities.
  • You will manage an existing portfolio of small, medium and strategic Traineeship and Apprenticeship partners and accounts whilst working as part of a larger team responsible for delivering the employer journey for the Traineeship and Apprenticeship element of the account.
  • You will attend account management meetings with key accounts, providing the latest data, progression, and achievement, within employer threshold frequency times, leading on providing the key trends with employers.
  • You will conduct training needs analysis to support work force planning with employers to fully understand their Apprenticeship and skills training needs then referring to the relevant channels for other business opportunities.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 year's experience in business development and/or account management with large/strategic employers.
  • Industry knowledge with either a sales & recruitment company or training organisation.
  • Skills and experience of working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills.
