Religious Education Teacher

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong subject knowledge and a real passion for Religious Education to make a lasting impact. While QTS is not mandatory, prior experience working in an education setting and a deep understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophy is highly beneficial.

About the Role:

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will deliver thought-provoking and engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will encourage respectful discussion, critical thinking, and open-mindedness in a diverse student population. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent support from an experienced Humanities department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons

• Support students in exploring philosophical, moral, and cultural issues

• Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs

• Contribute to a cohesive, supportive teaching team

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong knowledge of Religious Education curriculum

• Experience in a secondary school or education setting (preferred)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to student progress and wellbeing

• Open to both qualified and unqualified candidates with subject expertise
