Our partnered Schools are recruiting. These schools offer an inclusive and welcoming setting. The SEN schools are based across West London boroughs and they are known for their supportive and collaborative environment.

The SEN Schools we recruit for cater to a wide range of SEN students and year groups. We have schools that support students with specific behaviour challenges such as SEMH, ADHD, ASD etc. SEMH & PRU Settings across primary & secondary.

Roles - Behaviour Mentor

We are looking for x5 dedicated Behaviour Mentors to provide personalised support to SEMH /PRU students. Roles are available across Primary and secondary year groups as well as post 16 positions.

The Behaviour Mentor role involves a nurturing approach working closely with students with a range of needs, including challenging behaviour. While existing SEN experience is preferred, it is not essential in most of the roles, as training is offered throughout the academic year. The schools welcome candidates from backgrounds such as; Youth work, social work, care, support work, outreach, tutoring, mentoring, young offenders, prisons, mental health units etc.

You must be able to commit to long-term, full-time positions. The hours are 8.30am-4pm Monday to Friday.

The role requires you to promote positive behaviour, create a safe and engaging learning environment and adapt lessons to cater to a mixture of abilities and needs. As a Behaviour Mentor, you should be proactive, supportive, have good communication skills and a positive approach to challenging students.
