Our client is the UK’s established market leader in its field of metal products manufacture, supplying into the filtration, automotive, building & construction and general engineering sectors. With a keen focus on driving efficiencies within their manufacturing area, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Maintenance Engineer to ensure improvements in the continuous smooth running of plant equipment.

As Maintenance Engineer you will:

• Ensure all equipment is fully operational at all times
• Optimise machine efficiency
• Implement effective fault diagnosis
• Carry out overhauls, upgrades and rebuilds
• Commission and install new equipment
• Follow PPM programmes
• Supervise external contractors
• Order spares
• Work a 3 shift system

As Maintenance Engineer, you will need:

• A mechanical bias
• An HNC/HND in mechanical engineering
• The ability to strictly follow maintenance schedules
• Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics and conveyors

Salary & benefits:

• Starting salary of £36k + shift premium (c.£6k)
• Salary rising to £42k after 6 month probation period + shift premium (£48k total earnings)
