Speech and Language Therapist - Colchester - Education and Training

A specialist school in Colchester is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide direct support to students in both group and 1:1 settings, working closely with teachers and support staff to enhance students' learning experiences. (Education and Training)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group therapy within the learning environment
Work closely with the Class Teacher and Teaching Assistant to contribute to lessons
Assist with lesson preparation, schemes of work, ISPs, and Care Plans

What We're Looking For in a Speech and Language Therapist:

NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential)
GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above)
Experience working with students with autism or learning disabilities in an educational setting (highly advantageous)
