The Geography Teacher Role:

As a Geography Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. You will have the chance to inspire curiosity about the world, develop critical thinking skills, and instill a love for Geography in your students.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum.

• Preparing students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their best results.

• Encouraging students to explore geographical concepts, from physical landscapes to human geography.

• Monitoring and assessing student progress, tailoring support to individual needs.

• Working collaboratively with a dedicated and experienced Humanities department to maintain the school's outstanding standards.

Candidate Requirements: Geography Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Geography or a related field.

• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a bonus).

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
