JOB - Electrical Design Engineer    
LOCATION - Cardiff, South Wales 
TERM - Permanent 
SALARY - £45,000- £60,000 per annum.
 
A South Wales based engineering company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. 
 
The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 

BEng or equivalent electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
3 years' electrical design experience.
Good experience & understanding of design software such as Solid Edge.
Knowledge of PLC systems.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.The Electrical Design Engineer's duties will involve:

The design of electrical systems, electrical harnesses & various equipment.
Supporting the leadership of electrical design overall.
Creating & developing project estimates & budgets.
Modifying existing drawings & specifications.
Producing electrical schematics & drawings to fit requirements.
Providing support to other engineers when required.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
