Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our Bath based client who seek a Payroll/Accounts Assistant on an 18 month FTC basis.

What you will be doing:

In this pivotal role within the finance team, your duties will include the following :

Key Responsibilities :

Processing payroll in a timely manner for each pay period
Inputting, maintaining and updating employee records
Review of salary information for new employees / contract amendments
Processing overtime and expense claims / payroll deductions
Preparing the payroll BACs file for authorisation
Assisting with month end / year end procedures
Dealing with payroll queries from employees
Payroll reporting for management
Additional assistance with sales and purchase ledger duties What you will need to succeed:

A proven track record within payroll is essential
Other accounts experience also required - sales and purchase ledger as well as reconciliations
The ability to work under pressure with ever changing deadlines
Excellent IT skills including MS Office (word/outlook and excel) and SharePoint
First rate communication skills at all levels including a confidential approachWhat you will receive in return :

Salary to £31,762pa DOE
18 month Fixed Term Contract
Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
Immediate start available!
Office based however some future hybrid working may be available
