Role: Private Client Solicitor

Location: Basildon

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (dependant on PQE)

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm (part-time considered)

Description

• Undertaking fee-earning work and meeting billing targets.
• Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney on the behalf of clients.
• Attending networking events to represent the law firm.
• Building and growing the firm’s client base.
• Working as part of a team; delegating work to secretaries and paralegals.
• Undertaking Court of Protection work; including applications and management.
• Managing estate administration and probate.

Ideal Person

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive via training contract, SQE or Cilex
• Proficient in using legal software and other technology
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to show compassion to vulnerable clients
• Experienced within private client
