Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a thriving and dynamic organisation specialising in structural steel projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of quantity surveying for structural steel projects, including tendering, budgeting, and final accounts.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate contract terms with clients and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs, ensure value for money, and manage budgets effectively to maximise profitability.
• Conduct site visits to measure and value works completed.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to provide cost advice and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Identify and manage project risks, including resolving disputes and handling claims.
• Produce accurate and timely reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the structural steel industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, particularly JCT and NEC forms.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in using industry-standard software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
