Now Education are looking for a Geography Teacher for a September 2024 start. The role is full time and is required at an Mansfield based secondary school. The school are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging teacher that has excellent classroom management as some of the classes can be challenging.
Duties of the role:
* Create engaging lesson plans using resources, text books and maps
* Set assignments, tests and projects for your classes
* Use different teaching techniques, whole class discussions, group projects and field trips
* Attending field trips when necessary
* Manage the class using the schools behaviour policies
We are looking for people who meet the following criteria:
* Specialism in Geography
* UK QTS and/ or relevant UK teaching qualification
* Experience working with KS3 and KS4 classes
* A real passion for education
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management
* Great communication skills
In order to apply for the role, you must be able to work full time, have a relevant UK teaching qualification and have experience working with secondary aged children.
