Job Title: Continuous Improvement Lead/ConsultantLocation: Cwmbran, UKContract Duration: 2 MonthsHourly Rate: Up to £75 per hourOverview:We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Lead/Consultant for a 2-month contract in Cwmbran. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver impactful changes in a short timeframe, working with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable process improvements.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reducing waste.- Identify key areas for improvement through data analysis, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.- Collaborate with teams across the business to implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to streamline processes.- Develop and implement strategies that drive sustainable improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals.- Provide expert consultation, coaching, and training to staff on continuous improvement practices and methodologies.- Track and report on project progress, ensuring clear communication of results and performance metrics to senior management.- Ensure all initiatives comply with industry standards and health & safety regulations.- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to build a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.Key Skills & Experience Required:- Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement Lead or Consultant role.- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other relevant process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred).- Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering successful continuous improvement projects.- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and drive fact-based decision-making.- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels.- Proficiency in using relevant CI tools such as process mapping, root cause analysis, and value stream mapping.- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.- Prior experience within manufacturing, engineering, or related industries is highly desirable.
